First Responder Command Centre in Rachakonda

The Government of Telangana State as a part of “FIRST” Project (First Incidence Response System of Telangana State) sanctioned Rs. 350 crore to purchase 1600 Innova vehicles and 2000 Motor cycles to put in place a world class patrolling and Gulli Gasti system in order to provide safe and secure living for the citizens of Telangana State with specific focus on capital city of Telangana with a concept of “Smart City”. As a part of the above programme, FRCC (First Responder Command Centre) has been started in Rachakonda Commissionerate to monitor Patrolling and Gulli Gasti. Innova cars and Motor bikes are alloted to the Rachakonda Commissionerate. Each Police Station will have two patrol cars, Blue colt vehicles(motor bikes) to all sectors in PS and Interceptors for each one for Division and National highways and State highways. Apart from the above, four Patrol cars will Patrol ORR, four in IT Corridor

FRCC :

FRCC Rachakonda is functionning from Rachakonda Police Commissionarate.Three ACsP will monitor Main Control Room, Zonal Control Rooms, Interceptors, Patrol cars and Blue colts round the clock

Strength :

1. Interceptor will have one driver + one Civil HC/PC and three armed TSSP PCs with BP Jacket in each shift will work in three shifts round the clock

2. Patrol car will have one driver + one Civil HC/PC + one Civil PC/HG in each shift will work in three shifts round the clock

3. Blue colt will have one Civil PC + HG in each shift will work in three shifts round the clock

4. Main PCR will have One Inspector 4SIs, 2 ARSI’s, 6 HC’s, 33 PC’s and 2 HG’s

5. Zonal Controls will have 1 SI and 1PC + 1 HG in each shift round the clock

1. Quick response to SOS calls with in 10 minutes reaching time

2. Prevention of crime

3. Visible policing

5. People Friendly Policing

Role of FRCC :

1. To prepare Job charts in consultaion with Concerned SHOs, ACsP and monitor

2. To organize training to the (Patrol cars, interceptors, blue colts, Staff of Zonal Control and main Control at CTC

3. To monitor the work of the Main control(PCR), Zonal controls, Patrol Cars, Interceptors and blue colts

4. To organize surprise physical checking with five RSI’s teams and ensure implementation of Job charts and to gather feedback

5. To organize the decoy operations to study the ground level response time

6. To monitor no response reports

7. To evaluate the performance of Control room and Patrolling staff

Vehicle Tracking System :

As a pilot project 23 vehicles have been fitted with GPS for Job chart tracking. At present 78 Four Wheelers and 90 Two Wheelers installed with GPS Systems
